NM Player Development Camp MARCH 26 -- Register now!

By John Utsey 03/09/2023, 10:00am MST

A chance for your player to shine!

2023 New Mexico Boys & Girls Player Development Camp

The Land of Enchantment Amateur Hockey Association (LOEAHA) is excited to announce the 2023 New Mexico Player Development Camp (NMPDC) to be held March 26, 2023, at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center in Santa Fe, NM.

The PDC is an opportunity for boys and girls with birth years 2006 - 2010 to participate in high-level drills, demonstrate their hockey abilities, and compete for the state allocated roster spots to attend advanced District Player Development Camps (PDC).

The camp will consist of skill-based, on-ice drills, a competitive scrimmage, and a presentation by the New Mexico Referees Confederation about officiating and the path to becoming a high-level official. Guest speaker Kenny Greer will share his story and experiences of advancement from youth hockey right here in NM to the world of professional hockey in Europe.

The Flyer for the camp is here. It is incorrect though as it lists birth years through 2009.  2010 players can attend the camp.

The Registration form for the camp is online.  Sign up here.

Points to consider.

1) It's a one-day training camp to improve your hockey skills.

2) You will be evaluated by coaches and other experts who don't normally see you play. This can be valuable feedback for your development as a player.

3) You could be selected to advance to the Rocky Mountain District Player Development Camp.

Note that only NM permanent residents may be considered for selection to the District PDC at the NM PDC. Residents of other states are welcome to participate in the NM PDC but must pursue selection for District Camp through their home state affiliate’s PDC.

Registration is due by MARCH 23
