Come try hockey for FREE, just bring a bicycle helmet and gloves

Come join us at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center in Santa Fe for a chance to get on the ice and try hockey. The event is 4:30 to 6:15, followed by a game with our Santa Fe Capitals Mites (8 and under team) against the Albuquerque Ice Wolves.

  • Admission to the GCCC & Skate rentals will be free for this event.
  • We will have instructors on hand for those who have never been on the ice.
  • We will have coaches on hand to help with those who can skate but have never played hockey.
  • And we will have some families on hand to talk about playing hockey in Santa Fe
  • From 4:30 to 5:15 we will fit skates and do a little "dry land" work before we get on the ice at 5:15
  • Even though our October to February Season is just wrapping up it is still a good time to get involved. If your child decides to play we have spring skills clinics and fall skills clinics to help get your budding young player up to speed for next season.
