Role: Team managers serve as the liaison between coaches and hockey parents / families, primarily for weekly communications and game day operations.
Past / current managers will assist with orienting new managers to assigned duties.
Managers must be registered with USA Hockey & Safe Sport certified.
Duties:

Work with John Utsey to transfer team roster / family contact information into Sports Engine app

Assist team coach with scheduling parent meeting within first weeks of season

Attend parent meeting

Provide weekly communication via SportsEngine for parents, including the week’s schedule, coach’s notes, and other relevant information.

Solicit and assign volunteers for locker room monitoring and game day assignments

Assist coach with other duties as needed

Mini mites / mites managers may wish to develop a snack program for after games

Organize end of year party for team

Managers may also choose to work with their team families to organize an end of year gift for coaches
Game day assignments:
- Mites / mini mites: Bench support, as needed, music and clock
- Squirts & above: Locker room monitors, penalty box, music, clock & scoreboard
